Just returned from hiking Mt Baker trails at Glacier, WA. Lots of snow even at mid July, 2010.
Moderate hiker - have hiked 18 miles a day in my younger days but would like to limit it to 12 miles or less now. Experienced backpacker.
Beginner climber - 5 trips including Castlerock, Lovers Leap and Tahquitz Rock up to 5.8. Have own harness, shoes and full rack which is only short on runners and quickdraws.
Mountaineering - Need to purchase crampons and ice axe but have 11mm rope and ascender.
Tennis and fishing are my other favorite activities.
